Bridal Photography by Kate Bellinger
08 Oct in Photography | Comments (0)What is it that makes a great wedding photographer? I think they need to blend seamlessly into your surroundings and still capture those intimate and meaningful moments . They should make you feel at ease in front of the camera and document your day in a way in which you would want to remember it!
Kate Bellinger works across the South of England and prides herself on photographing creatively in a natural manner. It’s important to Kate that even though her images are spontaneous, she always shows the best side of the bride she is working with.

The 2009 Designer Wedding Show
03 Oct in Events | Comments (0)Planning a wedding is an enormous amount of work, to have over 130 suppliers under one roof is a great opportunity to pick up ideas as well as source those hard to find, unusual stockists . If you haven’t yet booked your ticket for this year’s Designer Wedding Show , then you’d best get to it as I’ m sure it’s going to be well worth attending and runs from the 9th – 11th October at Battersea Park, London – so not much time left!

Shona Carnegie
02 Oct in Jewellery | Comments (0)Deciding on a wedding band must be one of the hardest decisions we make. It’s something you have to want to wear for a lifetime. Personally, I would always choose to have a ring commissioned and made for me rather than buy one “off the shelf”. There are some outstanding designers around, who will create a bepoke artwork for you to treasure – what could be more wonderful? A wedding ring becomes more precious each year that we are married and we become more and more sentimental about them as time goes by. How many women (or men…?) do you know who are inconsolable should they loose their wedding rings?
I love this ring in Shona Carnegie’s portfolio – an 18ct Gold Spin Ring with 5 diamonds set around the band.

Flowers from Tiger Rose
02 Oct in Flowers | Comments (0)What bride doesn’t agonise over her flowers? And I believe that they contribute enormously to setting the tone for your wedding. They re-enforce your colour scheme and also provide an inkling of who you are and your personal style and taste. I have seen Susannah Morrison’s arrangements on a number of occasions and have always loved her colour combinations and the boldness of her creations. Tiger Rose offer a free consultation for you to view their portfolio and discuss your ideas.

Charlotte Casadéjus
02 Oct in Bridal Wear | Comments (0)I had to feature Charlotte Casadéjus as my first wedding dress item. I love her range, from the monogrammed, vintage linen cushions to the bags and belts that form her accessories range. Her dresses are delicate, feminine and unusual. This particular one has a hollywood glamour that is charming and elegant. Her dresses combine vintage features – embroidery, beading or lace with sumptuous fabrics. Brides-to-be can contact Charlotte for a dress and veil from her range or commission a bespoke dress.
